Rob comes from a long line of honorable veteran family, with over 240 years of combined service. During his childhood and structured family life, words like "Duty, Honor, and Country" were instilled in his upbringing. His family stresses across majority of the branches from the Army, Navy, Marines, Coast Guard, and Air Force. Being a 100% disabled veteran, from being crushed between 56 ton and 5 tons while on active duty.
His endurance to strive assisted him to fight for his own quality of life and purpose. After gaining strength and support from his family, his process of recovery gave him the vision and mission to give back to our veteran’s communities. His long 2 and half year path to recovery has been multiple physical emotional challenges for him and his family. From, learning to walk again and showing his capabilities to perform and continue to serve with respect and honor, Mental Health is a top mission of his to help battle against PTSD.
He has served with the “Big Red One”, 2nd ID, 3rd ACR, JTF6 and 1st Batt/75th Ranger Regiment. He has attended Ranger, Sniper, Jungle, Airborne, Air Assault schools, Rob has attended numerous military academies from PLDC, BNOC, ANOC, First Sergent School to the Battle Staff Course graduated with honors which molded into the Non-Commissioned Officer he became during his tenure of service. He has served during many different campaigns from the cold war, war on drugs to the war on terrorism. After 22 years of deployments around the world, PSA (Personal Security Assignments) for members of Congress. Rob has been awarded many commendations for service for his tenure in the Army, many letters of recognition.
Rob donates his time in many ways to give back to his community, traveling paths of enlightenment in the Free Mason lodge to better himself as an individual, brother, man, father, and husband. He continued his education with the University of Phoenix and completed his MBA and continued his leadership capabilities in the corporate world. When he finally retired, He wanted to continue his path to better healing for himself and family, most of all, our veterans. His co-Founder partner Shawn Bertholf came to him with the vision of honoring our fellow veterans. Rob assisted in bringing Honor Box Studios to light. Rob is our Honor Box builder and will be your Point of Contact (POC) during the building process!
